In support of the Education Services Director, the Education Services Coordinator provides detail-oriented and customer centric work of the highest quality. The job duties include but are not limited to supporting outreach education, compiling data, writing reports and ensuring compliance with regulating agencies.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES

Responsibilities

  • Works closely with all departments within GMR to support outreach (external) education events with a professional, pro-active, detailed-oriented approach
  • Meet and interact with internal and external customers in support of the Education Services department
  • Collaborate with the director in compiling operational data into measurable reports
  • Manage training documentation and certificate distribution
  • Verify training compliance to meet regulatory requirements
  • Prepares documents, including office correspondence and presentations as needed
  • Manage calendars and web advertisement to ensure information is accurate and current
  • Manage submission for social media advertisement
  • Provide administrative support to the Education Services department
  • Other duties as assigned

Quality Management/Continuous Quality Improvement

  • Contributes to the development of a quality education program designed to promote company growth and community awareness of GMR that is in line with the company’s objectives
  • Produces scheduled and periodic reports to measure and support the effectiveness of the external education program

System and Process Management/Structure

  • Completes other assigned projects in a timely manner

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent knowledge and experience preferred

Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent problem solving ability
  • Team building skills
  • Intermediate computer skills including MS Office 365
  • Excellent public relations, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • Public speaking ability and able to communicate professionally, effectively and clearly
  • Maintains ongoing knowledge of and communicates the importance of SOP’s
  • Ability to empower, organize and motivate a team
  • Remains aware and understands the political environment both internally and externally
  • Ability to work within a strong team environment
  • Valid driver’s license

Experience:

  • Five years administration, management or communication experience.

 

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL & MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
  • Limited physical effort required with some exposure to physical risk.
  • May be required to sit for long periods of time.
  • Clear speech, typing, hearing/listening.
  • Works alone or with others for extended hours.
  • Analytical, writing, reading, math, judgement, decision-making, clerical skills
  • Occasional field deployment to specific unscheduled events of varying magnitude
  • Frequent hands to key ability to input data and information.
  • Close and distance visual capabilities.
  • Coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Constant exposure to routine office noises, such as office machines, conversations, foot traffic; moderate electrical or mechanical hazards.
  • Some exposure (less than 1/3rd) to loud aircraft noise, moving mechanical parts, fumes, toxic chemicals, airborne particles, risk of electrical shock.
  • Traveling by air or ground may be required
  • Perform other duties as directed by Director of Education Services

  • Interrelationships: Clinical leadership, LMS administrators, TC Directors, Clinical Educators
